In this post, I'm going to tell you about exposition text.

First of all, what is the definition of exposition?

The dictionary give us the answer:

Let's be focus on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th explanation. We can conclude that exposition text is a text that explains about a topic with the aim of explaining and persuading the reader to have the same view as us the author. There are 2 important things that should be in an exposition text: author's argument and facts that can support the argument.

Here's an example of simple exposition text:

The main structure of exposition text are title, introduction, body (arguments and factual data like graphs, pictures, charts, etc.), and conclusion.
